Sometimes the answer is a $40 filter, not a $4,000 system. We'll tell you.

We test first and size to the result. If the fix is small, we say so and you keep your money.

What people ask us at the kitchen sink.

Why does my water smell like rotten eggs?

Hydrogen sulfide gas, almost always from a well, sometimes from a water heater's anode rod reacting with the water. It is common across Central Florida. A sulfur and iron filter fixes the well. A different anode rod fixes the heater. A test tells you which one you have.

Is Florida tap water safe to drink?

City water meets federal standards, but it is treated with chlorine or chloramine, and most of the state draws from limestone so it arrives very hard. Safe and pleasant are different things. Well water is not tested by anyone unless you test it. We test both, free, at your tap.

Do I need a water softener or a whole house filter?

It depends on what is in the water. Hardness needs a softener. Chlorine, sediment and taste need a filter. Sulfur and iron on a well need their own stage. Many Florida homes need two of the three and almost none need everything. We size to the test result, not to a package.

What does the water test cost?

Nothing. We come to the house, test hardness, iron, sulfur, chlorine, pH and dissolved solids, and show you the numbers. If the fix is a small one, we say so.
